Splendid: Swimming in Stockholm
Stockholm is said to have very clean water. Indeed, I can only agree. Clean, refreshing, and open to everyone: swimming in Stockholm’s waters is excellent. What a welcome contrast to the lukewarm dirty waters around Hong Kong.
The picture shows a bathing spot called Lilla Värtan at Ekhagen near Stockholm’s student quarter Lappkärrsberget. The water is dark, clean, chilly, hence perfect. A quick look on the bathing water quality map by the European Environment Agency confirms it: Stockholm has been offering very clean water for many years.
